Local News Briefs: Engineer s office announces road closures Staff Report Engineer s office announces road closures ZANESVILLE - The Muskingum County Engineer s Office has announced that Pleasant Valley Road will be closed from May 3 to 7 from Ohio 146 to Cottage Hill Road. Railroad contractors will be replacing the crossing near Claypool Road.  Wolf Run Road will be closed for a culvert pipe replacement from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday from Ohio 146 to Clay Pike.  Blood drives upcoming ZANESVILLE - Several Red Cross blood drives are planned upcoming in the local area.  Drives will be from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 1 at the Unity Church of the Nazarene, 2 to 7 p.m. May 5 at the Wayne Township Hall by the Philo Lions Club, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 5 and 1 to 7 p.m. May 3 and 10 at Trinity United Presbyterian Church, 2 to 7 p.m. May 11 at the Colony Square Mall, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 14 at Zanesville High School and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 15 at the South Zanesville United Methodist C

Local News Briefs: County Road 4 closing for bridge repair Staff Report Road closed for bridge repair County Road 4, Colerain Pike, is scheduled to be closed for a bridge repair project beginning on Feb. 8.  The road will be closed in both directions for a period of four weeks. Advance warning signs will be posted.  Project is weather dependent.
