Yes, it would probably require a procurement process. But funding first. We will be as ready as we can be when eget the green we get the green light to go in terms of initiating a procurement process. So readiness is what we get from this. I think maybe to add to that, john, in terms of readiness, we also have a partnership established with m. T. C. , who is very invested in helping us get this funded and implemented. We realize this is a time where no one has any extra money and it also says we need to have done, because when the economy comes back and the people come back, they can navigate easily. So we will have it ready and continue to work with m. T. C. And anyone else we might be able to coordinate or partner with to get funds for that. I actually had an idea ill run by john after as we were going to a presentation on who we might seek for additional sponsorship on in implementing more wayfinding. And again, my last question. I mentioned this was designed 10 years ago, but is th
Along the coastline. A little bit of a cooler afternoon than what we saw yesterday to get this weekend started so weather is definitely cooperating today. The big question is will traffic be friday light as we work our way towards the weekend and it doesnt look like its too bad just yeah looking pretty good so far john but we do have some construction thats wrapping up so little slow on the nimitz but at least its not a major hot spot so were off to a fantastic start. Heres a live. Look at one of your busy bridges and thats 92. No surprise right its always busy or the busy especially during the 4 oclock 5 oclock hour. So it continues to fill in as we enter new hour lots of brake lights but no problem so this is good 12 minutes for your drive to the peninsula here at the bay bridge 80 west not as busy very quiet 11 minutes off to fremont street and heres the construction that i mentioned so its 80 north north of high street. Theyre always a little late picking up the cones some time wor
You layers, mostly sitting right above you and happen bay, but if you are driving into the crossing over 92. Thats were anticipating having some visibility issues as well as upper elevations, northward on the peninsula and into portions of marin and sonoma counties so do watch those foggy conditions in a few spots this morning, santa rosa in the 30s right now in napa pretty close to the 3rd 30s at 40 degrees right now well Oakland Hayward and San Francisco, each right at 50 degrees later today after some cloud cover to start we will see the return of some nice sunny skies and guess what temperatures even cooler than yesterday 70s for inland areas and by the bay and some 60s right along the coastline. So we really are off to a solid start for the weekend. A bit of fog though could interrupt your travel in this to work this morning, especially right along the coast on the peninsula. You can actually see that fog on the bay bridge a bit Robert Dallek foggy out there so that means folks ne
Working with kids in the ocean that arent familiar with this space is really special because youre dealing with a lot of fear and apprehension but at the same time, a lot of excitement. When i first did it, i was, like, really scared, but then, i did it again, and i liked it. Well get a group of kids who have just never been to the beach, are terrified of the idea, who dont like the beach. Its too cold out, and its those kid that are impossible to get back out of the water at the end of the day. Over the last few years, i think weve had at least 40 of our students participate in the city surf project. Surfing helped me with, like, how to swim. Weve start off with about two to four sessions in the pool before actually going out and surfing. Swimming at the pool just helps us with, like, being, like, comfortable in the water and being calm and not being all not being anxious.
