Additional resources, and Additional Information to supplement what is in the learning continuity plan. The next slide is one other point that i wanted to make sure to address. There was a question about this at the public hearing and in the and in the previous draft of the learning continuity plan and we had highlighted that we were pending clarification from the c. D. E. About the actions and expenditures. So i just wanted to take a moment to clarify, to explain that clarification, and the response that we have received. So we wanted to confirm that the actions and the expenditures that are at the bottom of each major section of the plan, we wanted to make sure that we were approaching that process correctly. And so the clarification that we received is that we should be considering both learning loss mitigation funds and lcff funds in our plan. But we do not need to include all of both of those sources. It is up to our discretion, the extent to which we include those funds. But thos

Supervisor peskin mr. President . Chief, youve done a great job this evening, and im really proud of you, but the one word that is missing from the Community Policing policies is longevity. Police and Community Relationships are built over time, and when people cycle through a district station or through a sergeants position or through a commander position and i understand promotional opportunities are important. But the people who are profoundly respected by a community are the people who have been through, and so the one thing thats missing from this is longevity. Yes, sir, supervisor peskin. Its an astute observe, and part of our view is retaining the people we do have. We spiked a little bit with the retirements and resignations over the last couple of years, but i think what youre getting to is transfers and promotions out of different departments and all. When people retire and leave, we promote new people. Definitely with retention and hiring, it is about longevity, and also, wi

So i would urge you to think about these when we discuyou d and im happy to work would cynthia in terms of what would be doable in terms of a starting point. I agree that youre not going to get everybody all the sectors, maybe targeting the sectors, or maybe targeting through the merchant associations and, you know, the s. B. C. S or whoever has the outreach might be a good way to get out there. But i would say that dont let low responses, you know, low responses pull us down. I would be thrilled if we had 40 return. Im thinking 5. Yeah, and i think the key is to make it clear that this is something that will inform how you can help businesses. And from what ive talked to, some businesses on the ground, theyve told me, oh, my god, another survey . But if you can show me that what im going to say is really going to help us, then, im absolutely willing t
