All five were arrested on April 9, according to the Lecompte Police Department.
Chief Ross Ducote said the department received a complaint about the possible abuse of two juveniles. The investigation included interviews of the victims at the Children s Advocacy Network, after which warrants were obtained.
Arrested were Raymond Jack Jr., 51, and Rhonda Denise Jack, 37, both of the 3000 block of Pine Street; Virgil Joseph Jr., 49, and Shemela Davis, 35, both of the 2200 block of St. Charles Street; and Sherman Brooks, 58, of the 3000 block of Government Street.
All five were booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center #1 in downtown Alexandria.
Raymond Jack was booked with resisting an officer, second-degree sexual battery, indecent behavior with juveniles, carnal knowledge of a juvenile and molestation of a juvenile older than 13 but younger than 17.
