All five were arrested on April 9, according to the Lecompte Police Department.
Chief Ross Ducote said the department received a complaint about the possible abuse of two juveniles. The investigation included interviews of the victims at the Children's Advocacy Network, after which warrants were obtained.
Arrested were Raymond Jack Jr., 51, and Rhonda Denise Jack, 37, both of the 3000 block of Pine Street; Virgil Joseph Jr., 49, and Shemela Davis, 35, both of the 2200 block of St. Charles Street; and Sherman Brooks, 58, of the 3000 block of Government Street.
All five were booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center #1 in downtown Alexandria.
Raymond Jack was booked with resisting an officer, second-degree sexual battery, indecent behavior with juveniles, carnal knowledge of a juvenile and molestation of a juvenile older than 13 but younger than 17.
