30 people on Air India flight from Amritsar to Rome test Covid positive
At least 30 people travelling on an Air India flight from Amritsar to Rome last Wednesday have been tested positive for coronavirus infection on arrival, while all passengers on board the flight have been quarantined off for two weeks, a person with direct knowledge of the matter said, reports Rhik Kundu in Mint. There are a couple of crew members who were among the 30 odd people who tested positive for the virus on arrival at Rome, the person said requesting anonymity.
An Air India spokesperson was not immediately available for comments.
EaseMyTrip partners with JustDial for air bookings
Online travel company EaseMyTrip on Thursday said it has tied up with local search engine JustDial for providing air travel services, reports Rhik Kundu in Mint. Through this association, EaseMyTrip will be the exclusive service provider for all flight bookings at JustDial. All Air bookings requests received on JustDial will be completed by EaseMyTrip, EaseMyTrip said in a statement. There is direct API integration of EaseMyTrip with JustDial where real time bookings are executed.
