Plymouth City Council has announced that a number of different grant schemes are available to businesses impacted by the Covid-19 restrictions.
The council is working as quickly as possible to process applications and distribute the funding, and wants to make sure that eligible businesses do not miss out.

Newark and Sherwood District Council urges those affected by covid to apply for business support grants

An application form has been produced for businesses to apply for financial support if they were affected when Newark and Sherwood entered tier four and the latest national lockdown.
Applications will close at 5pm on Friday, January, 29.
All businesses are urged to apply as soon as possible and Newark and Sherwood District Council has officers ready to start processing grant payments immediately.

More than £4m of financial support grants have already been paid to 1,343 eligible businesses in Newark and Sherwood.

We re not retail or hospitality enough, says Justin. If we were a bar or a restaurant we d get more help, but we fall through the gaps. A lot of similar businesses to ourselves have already closed.
