The U.S. Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) and the China Semiconductor Industry Association (CSIA) have agreed to establish a working group for information sharing related to trade restrictions, supply chain security and other areas announced the latter on its website today. The SIA is a coalition of American chip companies, including heavyweights such as Intel Corporation and NVIDIA Corporation, and the CSIA is headed by the Chinese Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation s (SMIC) chairman Mr. Jiang Shangzhou.
