No watering lawn or garden to the point of run off. And no washing your car unless you have a hose with a shut off nozzle. New rule could go into effect as soon as august 1st. Now even your water agency could be fined 10,000 dollars day if it doesnt get you to conserve water. The worst water wasters in Southern California coastal communities where water use was up nearly 8 and a half percent. Sacramento and the north coast had the bi biggest decline where users cut back 13 percent on average. Its been a terrifying 24 hours for so many families, some close calls for flash floods. Look at the radar this hour, the severe thunderstorms and powerful winds moving across much of the east. This is college park, maryland a short time ago, the wind whipping the trees, the relentless rain and this tonight. Look closely at that car, there was a family inside, the father and daughter clinging to a tree. As i mentioned at the top, the mother inside swept away for miles.
