A RedmiBook Pro 14S powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 5700U has been put through its paces on Geekbench, and it managed a 28.16% higher result in the Geekbench 5 multi-core benchmark than the Ryzen 7 4700U. The Lucienne Zen 2-based Ryzen 5000 APU can boast of enhancements such as an improved iGPU and SMT support.

We have already seen the AMD Ryzen 7 5700U pop up in numerous laptops on Geekbench over the last few weeks, including several HP Pavilion laptops and an Asus VivoBook. The Ryzen 5000 part has also been tested in a TIMI Laptop, which has revealed itself to be an upcoming RedmiBook Pro 14S from the Chinese OEM Xiaomi. Laptop batteries associated with the POCO branding have been spotted on Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) documents that could indicate the former Xiaomi subsidiary is planning on releasing a POCO laptop, possibly even a POCOBook. The POCO M3 smartphone was the most recent device launched by the now independent company.

Although POCO has now become an independent firm in its own right, it still seems logical for the brand to keep a close watch on what former parent company Xiaomi gets up to. While the Chinese OEM has branched out into producing affordable laptops in the form of the RedmiBook devices, it seems POCO could be considering a similar move.

An Acer Swift SF314-43 laptop has been discovered on Geekbench being tested for its graphics prowess with the help of an AMD Ryzen 5 5500U, which is from the upcoming Zen 2-based Lucienne family. It seems the Radeon iGPU component is capable of hitting a maximum clock of 1.80 GHz, which will be handy for some casual gaming on the Ryzen 5000 laptop.

Netizens spotted the full specifications of the latest next-gen laptop from Asus, TUF Gaming A17, which seemed to be the first gaming laptop packed with AMD Ryzen 7 5800H. Aside from the laptop, the German retailer Expert.de also included some unknown specs for the processor.

As seen in these current ASUS TUF Gaming laptops, those screens have really bad quality. It has 47.34% Adobe color gamut display and 62.5% SRGB with a contrast of 800:1 and 250 nits fit the description of the same panel.
