HONOLULU, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) - The death toll from the Capitol siege rose to five Thursday with the passing of a police officer who fought with rioters.
Authorities say nearly 60 officers were hurt.
Many Hawaii Republicans are shocked over the chaos that occurred on Capitol Hill Wednesday but does not believe the president should be impeached.
“I don’t think he should be impeached. Donald Trump is my president and until he passes over the torch to Biden peacefully, he’s still going to be my president and he’s everybody else’s president whether you like it or not,” said Trump supporter Reno Remigio Jr.
