As South Africa enters the second week of the blessed month of Ramadan, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has distributed more than three thousands food parcels benefitting about 25,000 needy and poor South Africans.
The official handover was done at the Religious Attaché of Saudi Arabia in Pretoria on Thursday.
The initiative is part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Gift Programme which has benefitted more than fifty countries across the globe.

The Saudi government has donated three thousand packages containing basic necessities and 15 tons of dates for the Indonesian community on behalf of King .
On the occasion, the Secretary-General of the Senegalese Ministry of Social Affairs Collie Rachel Faisley praised the efforts being made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the Islamic field and the support for Ramadan projects.
