As South Africa enters the second week of the blessed month of Ramadan, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has distributed more than three thousands food parcels benefitting about 25,000 needy and poor South Africans.
The official handover was done at the Religious Attaché of Saudi Arabia in Pretoria on Thursday.
The initiative is part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Gift Programme which has benefitted more than fifty countries across the globe.
With the current COVID-19 pandemic affecting South Africa and the globe, thousands of people have been left destitute by the economic and financial impact of the Coronavirus.
