Welcome to the California Department of Motor Vehicles as you always dreamed you would see it. Empty chairs, empty windows. Have you ever seen the dmv this empty . No, no, i knew there was something wrong as soon as i walked in. Something wrong and how. Unfortunately, our systems are down. And have been out of commission at dmv offices across the state including this one on fell street in San Francisco and another in concord. Its been going on since monday. Official lit dmv would not allow any employees working in this office to speak to us on camera. They were speaking to customers, however, a heres what customers told us the dmv told them.
