getting around that. butt tonight is actually the rel start of this election campaign. and i believe, i m hopeful, that some of these candidates will have a chance to get america to know them, to hear about what they re all about, instead of it being completely focused on trump. but it s he s the 800-pound gorilla, he sucks all the oxygen out of the room. as you and i are doing right this, we have this big debate, it s very important, i hope people will tune in, and all we re talking about is donald trump and his problems. that s what these candidates are going to have to overcome. you released an op-ed in newsweek about what s going on, and in part you write this. in a party of principle, if you are unwilling to challenge the front-runner then you have no business being in the race. trump do you expect the candidates to challenge him tonight? i think a couple at least well challenge him. chris christie and asa
put him to death, we re not serious. ainsley: what about the families who lost dads, moms or kids, what are they saying about this? well, they have been at this point, it is baked in, they feel like justice never will come. some cases, you look at guy and say, i realize the taliban and al qaeda folks have been rel released. under obama and others, terrorists who went back to target americans again. deal with the recycling of the anguish time and time again. leaders of the taliban in afghanistan today were in guantanamo bay. many look at the mastermind of 9/11, art of the architect, if we can t bring him to justice, that guy on the screen, we re fools and that is what we look
