your republican opponents. you talk about the political debate in the country is corrosive. is it negative to point out that the- president s economic policies have failed? is that negative? of course not. that s not a personal assault. we are talking about how personal politics has become. ripping down, tearing down individuals.รบ+? sticking to the individuals and the record is appropriate. the reason i mention this is because i care what my kids are seeing, listening and hearing. they developed impressions and approaches in terms of how they deal with their fellow americans by what they see and hear. they take those at attitudes into the classroom and we wonder why our kids aren t showing authority figures proper deference and responsibility. i also care because the rest of the world is watching. the rest of the world cares about how we conduct our affairs. they take that hraoepld we are the only leader in leader in the world today. some are wishing us well.
