McDonald’s is donating tonnes of food to charities working to help struggling families during the festive period.
McDonald’s has committed to a series of donations to support families during the festive period. The company will donate more than 60 tonnes of food to food poverty charity FareShare between December 20 and 24 as part of its ongoing partnership. Bumper stock of nearly one million bagels will be sent to food hunger charity Magic Breakfast, and 50,000 Happy Meal books to Home Start for families who may be struggling after such a tough year.
Free carrots for Christmas Eve customers As part of the magical ritual of Christmas Eve, families will also be able to collect free Reindeer Treats (carrot bags) at any local McDonald’s.
