Delhi recorded the coldest nights and early mornings in February in 16 years. The daytime temperatures were also the lowest for February in five years. The day temperature is likely to touch 30 degrees Celsius by March 1. Though the day temperature had surpassed 30 degrees Celsius in Feb last year, it has so far stayed below the mark.
