Our Correspondent Kohima, June 18 (EMN): With a glittering and solemn ceremony, the Musician Guilds presented the MG Music Awards at the Regional Centre of Excellence for Music and Performing Arts (RCEMPA) located at Jotsoma, Kohima on Saturday evening. Nominees, performers and fans packed the hall with cheers and thunders of claps to make the night a memorable one for the winners. The judges for the awards were Shalmali, an Indian pop sensation, song-writer and composer who won best female playback singer at the prestigious filmfare award for the song Pareshan and at the screen award; Times of India Awards and Stardust Awards and is also one the judges for Sony Entertainment Television’s India Idol Junior for auditions.
