Rising waters of San Francisquito creek flooded the two right lanes of highway 101. The california Highway Patrol says there is flooding on the roadway just north of embarcadero road. But they say the freeway remains open. However chp says west Bayshore Road is closed between embarcadero and san antonio roads. The creek runs through both neighborhoods and commercial areas and has a history of flooding. Emergency alerts have been sent out to residents.
