A neighbor found the car outside his house up the street, with the drivers door open. Facing this way, which is unusual, because you know, it should be facing in the back. So thats when i said something is off. Then what happened is a lot of police folks, they came in. Reporter police scoured the car in a nearby open space for evidence. Theyre also looking for evidence in a halloween home invasion. There were three intruders with a gun in that case as well. They attacked the man, and took a bmw. The car was found abandoned. Some residents are thinking twice about their security. Alarming. We have security people coming to upgrade our cameras, and alarms. But its definitely upsetting. Reporter just two days before the first lafayette home invasion, a man was kidnapped, and robbed from oaklands upper rockford neighborhood.
