Roadways across El Paso have been closed due to street flooding.
Edgemere Boulevard in East El Paso has been temporarily closed because flooding after heavy rainfall may make it impassable, city officials said.
Edgemere Boulevard was closed Monday afternoon from Lee Treviño Drive to Red Sails Drive until weather and road conditions improve.
The temporary closure by the city Streets and Maintenance Department was done as a precaution due to street flooding.
Traffic also has been impacted in other parts of the city.

Body found in east El Paso neighborhood; foul play unlikely
EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) El Paso police discovered the body of a man early Friday morning in an east side neighborhood.
A police spokesman said the body was found close to the intersection of Red Sails Drive and Skipper Drive. That s near Hanks High School.
Police said at this point, foul play is not suspected. Crimes Against Persons unit detectives were investigating the death.
