This is a cornerstone of our centennial celebration of the 19th amendment, which gave women the right to vote. The 19th amendment is rightfully celebrated as a major mild milestone made possible by decades of suffragists from Political Engagement a critical piece of the larger story of womens battle for the vote. Rightfully hers, begins with the suffrage, the struggle for suffrage that does not end with the 19th amendments ratification.
