Saturday s Sr Citizen Center Rally was Not a Political Statement

By TIFFANY HARRIS, FORMER OUTREACH WORKER, RED BANK SENIOR CENTER January 11, 2021 at 2:00 AM Credits: Tiffany Harris January 11, 2021 at 2:00 AM Just to clarify, Councilmen Zipprich and Ballard had nothing to do with the rally.  I appreciated the two of them attending, but they were not part of the organizing.   I personally invited Councilwoman Kate Triggiano, the Senior Center liaison, and she did not show.  I am not in politics and I don t care for politics with its dog-eat-dog world. The rally was my idea and it was PERSONAL for me as the former outreach worker for the Red Bank Senior Center.

The evening will be hosted by Leon Brooks, a black historical interpreter of Nautical Living History and Reenactments of mariner-soldiers and creates period impressions of African-American s fighting at sea during the formative years of the United States in the 1700 s and 1800 s.
