RED BANK, NJ: Who likes sailor stories? Everybody!
The Navesink Maritime Heritage Association is offering an online ZOOM meeting of a historical interpretation of what it might have been like to be an African-American and part of George Washington s entourage crossing the Delaware over Christmas 1776.
The evening will be hosted by Leon Brooks, a black historical interpreter of Nautical Living History and Reenactments of mariner-soldiers and creates period impressions of African-American s fighting at sea during the formative years of the United States in the 1700 s and 1800 s.
