respond to what the american people say is important to them and that s the key about americans, you don t tell them what s important and they tell you. in joe biden s america, they can t find infant formula. nobody is blaming vladimir puti for that. he s losing america when he doesn t just stand up and say it s a little rough, but we hav a plan, we re going to get out of this. it s not just that people feel uncertain about their current economic situation, it s when they project forward, they thin it will only get worse. if republicans keep recruiting candidates that are talking about how to fix the economy, how to get back to energy independence, they will do very well this fall. joe biden and kamala harris do less every weekend that almost anyone i know where there is never anything on her public schedule. we see where he is, he literall had a ten minute good in didn t
american regardless of the political stripes. the governor s race is at stake, governor wolf, he has been one person standing against the republican legislature wanting to recount the vote even though joe biden won pennsylvania by 80,000 votes, and it depends on who dr. oz or whoever becomes the senate candidate can help the top of the chain there? yeah, that s right, and mitch mcconnell reflected that, he needs to make sure that he is recruiting candidates who will have an attractability and likability in order to help the entire ticket, however, i do think that i do think that biden s troubles in poll numbers and so many things and maria is smart to acknowledge that people are struggling with inflation, and it s going to be a struggle and the time
there probably than any other set of three places. i might even throw missouri in that. well, i think certainly the nominee will matter a lot. i think in at least several of those cases it doesn t matter who the nominee is, i think both candidates would be positioned to win well. i think ohio is a little trickier. but generally i think it s this argument in the senate at least to me is overplayed, that there is a sea of bad candidates. i don t think that s true. i think there s a couple of examples of not ideal candidates. i think what s more interesting to me sort of longer term for the party is in places where president trump and the house has gone out recruiting candidates, what happens do incumbents get knocked off and what does that mean in the general election? that has an impact on the president of course. right. if he were to run again but also the bearing of the house and do republicans win it
i think the senate i would still call it 50/50. but i d be on the leaning good side of 50/50 about where the party stands and the opportunity to take back the congress. you heard him say that even if some of these recruiting candidates even if the sane republicans don t get the nominations in certain states, they might win. mcconnell privately is calling some of these people goof-balls. he doesn t want them to get nominations. we heard the trump effect and head winds for biden might bring the goof-balls our prospects are pretty depressing in the midterms. i think democrats have a serious issue. we re not meeting people where they are. we re not dealing with parental exhaustion. the one silver lining might be the republican-on-republican war that can happen in these primaries over the next several months that we ll end up seeing.
