misrata. what are you hearing about misrata today? reporter: well we re hearing that the siege on misrata has been intensifying. eye witnesses and rebel spokesmen told cnn that they sustained a direct hit on their fuel depots, which obviously impacts their ability to withstand further siege. a rebel spokesman told us that the fuel depots were being used for day-to-day necessities, running the generators, used in food, cooking. really i mean for them this is a pretty big hit. and overnight, the attacks continued. and the libyan government is completely unrelenting in the center. they say as far as they re concerned, these are armed gangs. regardless of the impact this is going to have on the ground in terms of the families and their ability to even generate heat or cook, they say that as far as they re concerned, this is about
