Seton Hall’s graduating Class of 2021 will get a change of scenery this year when they walk across the stage to receive their diplomas at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey this May, University Provost Katia Passerini announced on Tuesday.
Citing relaxed coronavirus restrictions in the state, the University said in an email to seniors that it would stage three ceremonies at the home of the New York Jets and Giants to meet capacity and social distancing mandates. Two of the commencements will be held on May 20 at 9:00 a.m. and at 1:15 p.m., and one on May 25 at 10:30 a.m.

Broden said that his client would make an important witness at Trump s second impeachment trial and that he is willing to do so

DALLAS Despite the family and attorney of a Richardson man arguing for his release, and a statement from the defendant, a federal judge in Dallas ordered Garret Miller to remain in custody until his trial.
The judge said Miller, 34, poses a flight risk and remains a danger to the public as a domestic terror threat.
Miller was arrested at his home in Richardson on the morning of President Joe Biden s inauguration in Washington, D.C. for his involvement in the U.S. Capitol riots.

A North Texas man who federal officials say made numerous posts on social media about participating in the Jan. 6 riot at the United States Capitol was ordered to be held without bond at a detention hearing Monday after being arrested last week on federal charges.
Garret Miller, 34, of Richardson was arrested last Wednesday on charges of knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted buildings or grounds without lawful authority, violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds, obstructing or impeding any official proceeding and certain acts during civil disorder.
