A North Texas man who federal officials say made numerous posts on social media about participating in the Jan. 6 riot at the United States Capitol was ordered to be held without bond at a detention hearing Monday after being arrested last week on federal charges.
Garret Miller, 34, of Richardson was arrested last Wednesday on charges of knowingly entering or remaining in any restricted buildings or grounds without lawful authority, violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds, obstructing or impeding any official proceeding and certain acts during civil disorder.
