States becoming for resilience. Whether theyre located on the coast, and the mountains, in the midwest or anywhere in between, they have struggled with the challenges, the disasters that impact the nation. A nice love an important discussion about how to defeat those challenges and how we as governors can prepare our citizens to the resiliency challenges of the future. Silicon valley is transforming and adapting itself once again from the chips and plans of the 70s and 80s to the cloudbased companies of today. It is a generational swing. With hot and Silicon Valley changes. Welcome more jobs to san jose because right now, many residents leave and go to work in other cities. Two when they do that, they take their tax dollars, they take their lunch money, they take the drycleaning money and they dont invest it in san jose at the 10th largest city in america i should hope that we have enough jobs in san jose to attract people from the suburbs coming into our city during the daytime. The crash happened on maria drive in petaluma. They tell us this is the second time a car has crashed into this exact home in the past month. It was through this crosswalk were the car failed to stop traveling across the intersection, crashing into that house. Get a small honda suv smashed completely through the garage wall. Continuing across the garage and finally stopping against another wall. Is unlike an explosion but it was just a really loud crash. And, then i heard my stepdad telling everybody to get out, get out. Get out of the house . He saw smoke and then it smelled like gas. There were eight People Living in the house, and no one was injured, but, now just before the holidays, eight people have nowhere to live. Reporter larry, they had to make that choice because, of the 5 of the people who go through those gates dont pay to ride the trains. The concord station where we are is considered to be one of the biggest problem areas. The solution, as you mentioned, may be to get rid of the old and bring in the new. It makes me really mad. Reporter b. A. R. T. Riders get frustrated about lots of things, late train, crowded cars, broken facilities. But one thing gets them hot, fare evaders. I have to pay so everybody else should pay. When i see people skip the fares, it makes me annoyed because im the one that pays pa o the after someone who pays. By one estimate, costing bart up to 25 million a year. Even if youre not a b. A. R.
