The figure is made up of 152,200 first doses and 77,000 second doses.
The majority of the vaccines administered over the last week were second doses, with over 51,000 doses in total administered over the last seven days.
A total of 78,000 frontline healthcare workers have been vaccinated, including 55,000 people who have received two doses.

An advisor to the HSE says the arrival of the Astra Zeneca vaccine in the coming weeks is a ‘game changer.’
It was approved for use earlier in the week, and will be delivered to Ireland on the week of February 8th.
The HSE has launched a major national information campaign targeted at the groups who will receive the doses next.

Astra Zeneca has committed to delivering 9 million additional doses to EU member states in the first quarter of 2021. It s after a row with the European Commission which resulted in it deciding to trigger Article 16 of the Brexit agreement, which caused alarm in Dublin and Belfast.
