Im pleased to announce the reserve of 2 30i6 million for the arts impact endowment. In the measure, it included 9 million approximately new funding for arts and culture, including a new arts impact endowment to be jointly administered between grants for the arts. And i have my colleagues here, matthew guedeau and jason blackwell. Federal government gets the count right, so weve created count sf to motivate all sf count to motivate all citizens to participate in the census. For the immigrant community, a lot of people arent sure whether they should take part, whether this is something for u. S. Citizens or whether its something for anybody whos in the yUnited States, and it is something for everybody. Census counts the entire population. Weve given out 2 million to over 30 communitybased organizations to help people do the census in the communities where they live and work. Weve also partnered with the Public Libraries here in the city and also the Public Schools to make sure there are informational materials to make sure the folks do the census at those sites, as well, and weve initiated a campaign to motivate the citizens and make sure they participate in census 2020. Because of the language issues that many Chinese Community and families experience, there is a lot of mistrust in the federal government and whe

There is a certain amount of that honey at th o of that money and they are using that for the planning activities around the region. Thank you so much. Again, maybe moving forward, can we send this item with positive recommendation to the january 14th, 2020 meeting of the full board without objection . I will not object. I want to concur with staff from the Planning Department that there is a difference between pdas and senate bill 50. I realize those things may beacon plated in the minds of some of my friends from the public, but i dont have any problem with the pda legislation item 2. As to item 1, i want to thank supervisor mar who picked up where i left off. I realize that there is a stream of thought that this should be opposed at all costs rather than doing what supervisor mar and other folks ar
People. And i think i should have mentioned the drug sobering center. These are other 24 7 facilities which this Response Team could take people to and get them the help they need. Through the chair, i just think its important to talk about how this team is distinct from the h. O. T. Team and the e. M. S. I know it feels like a lot of teams, but we fought to make sure that the language requires coordination amongst all of these teams. They really do have distinct roles. So the h. O. T. Team is not supposed to be experts on Behavioral Health. Their mandate is to outreach and engage with people who are experiencing homelessness. Lets remember, not all people experiencing homelessness have Mental Health or addiction issues. So they are they have another role entirely. Its about well, thats a role that not all of us feel comfortable with now and were always constantly battling out, but it is distinct and separate from the issue of Behavioral Health. The e. M. S. 6 team, the firefighter has
