West Bengal BJP chief Dilip Ghosh has targeted the ruling Trinamool Congress over Monday’s attack on a BJP roadshow in Kolkata and said violent politics will continue in the state if TMC remains in power. Dilip Ghosh has also supported Adhikari who has pitched himself in a high-voltage contest against Mamata Banerjee in Nandigram.

BJP and TMC workers clashed in Khejuri of East Midnapore district of West Bengal, ahead of Suvendu Adhikari s rally on Tuesday.

Clashes broke out between workers of the ruling TMC and the BJP in several areas of East Midnapore district of Bengal ahead of Suvendu Adhikari’s rally in Khejuri on Tuesday.
The BJP workers claimed that they were attacked by TMC supporters when they were on their way to Suvendu Adhikari’s rally. The BJP workers also claimed that crude bombs were hurled at them and several of them were injured.
Kolkata Police said that a clash between BJP workers and the stone-pelters was averted after a huge police contingent rushed to the spot to bring the situation under control
