Police in Virginia are searching for a man found guilty earlier this week of conspiring to kill a college student who was a nephew of the late U.S. Rep. Elijah Cummings of Maryland
The jury deliberated 12 hours before finding Rashad Dooley guilty of the lesser charges of conspiracy to commit murder and burglary, and attempted robbery, and acquitting him of the most serious charges he faced. Dooley is among four men charged in the 2011 murder of ODU student Christopher Cummings and the first to be convicted.
Rashad Dooley was convicted of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, attempted robbery, and conspiracy to commit robbery in the 2011 death of Chris Cummings.
