The NGT has also issued a show cause notice to the Container Corporation of India asking why its Tughlaqabad unit should not be not shifted to some other place.

Delhi Police has registered a FIR in the incident.  Earlier, Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia confirmed the gas leak and said over 85 students have been affected by it. According to reports in ANI, the number fo students affected by the gas leak is 450.
