By BRENT MARTINSt. Joseph PostRancher and businessman Jeff Farnan emerged from a crowded field to claim the Republican nomination for the 1st Missouri state Representative District of far northwestern Missouri. Jessica Piper/file photo Farnan will face Democrat Jess Piper in November.There was an upset in another Missouri state representative race.Incumbent Representative Randy Railsback lost the Republican primary to political newcomer Mazzie Boyd. Boyd won an overwhelming victory in the Republican primary, getting more than 60% of the vote. The unofficial vote count is 4,653 to 2,881. Boyd faces Democrat Lois Pontius in November.Andrew County voters elected a prosecuting attorney and associate circuit judge in Tuesday's primary election
