Local fire departments responding for mutual aid to town of Burlington – West of the I

May 20th, 2021 Photo by kconnors via morgueFile.com At about 9:37 a.m., some Western Kenosha County fire departments are responding to a MABAS box alarm activated by the Town of Burlington Fire Department for a fire in the 8500 block of Horizon Drive in the town of Burlington. Requested to respond are: Randall Fire Department with a chief. Bristol Fire and Rescue with a chief for change of quarters.

May 12th, 2021 Photo by kconnors via morgueFile.com At about 4:09 p.m., Randall Fire Department and Twin Lakes Rescue units are responding to a report of a grass fire in the 8900 block of Highway KD in Randall. Per dispatch: This is reported as a possible fire in a road side ditch. Lots of smoke reported, but no flames seen. UPDATE 4:14 p.m. Responding unit reports address is 7500 block of Highway KD (352nd Avenue). UPDATE 4:16 p.m. Dispatch says burn permit issued for this address. Twin Lakes unit on scene reports fire in ditch will be extinguished and rest will be left as a controlled burn.

Per dispatch: This was initially reported as a fence on fire, which spread to a house. UPDATE 8:06 p.m. Deputy on scene reports two houses on fire. UPDATE 8:14 p.m. MABAS box alarm activated. Among departments responding to the scene are: Pleasant Prairie Fire and Rescue and Rochester Fire Department with engines. Randall Fire Department and Town of Wheatland Fire Department with tenders (water tankers).
