The special task force (STF) has named the alleged girlfriend of one of the arrested accused in the 950gm heroin recovery case in Ludhiana. The STF also got a production warrant for criminal Karan Kalia, who is lodged in Goindwal jail. The accused, Karan Kalia, was running a drug smuggling racket from the jail with the help of his aides. The STF arrested two individuals with 950gm heroin and nominated the girlfriend of one of the accused. Raids were conducted for her arrest but she could not be nabbed. The girlfriend, Priyanka Chopra, was involved in smuggling and delivering heroin. She is married to another drug peddler who is also in jail. Priyanka started living separately from him due to their strained relations.
