The Bandhan Express running from Bangladesh's Khulna to Kolkata was halted at Habra station in West Bengal after a guard noticed smoke emerging from one of its compartments. The incident caused chaos but the fire was brought under control.
The Border Security Force (BSF) jawans arrested three Bangladeshi nationals at the Indo-Bangladesh border in Bengal for smuggling 340 grams of gold ornaments, worth over Rs 20.50 lakh.
Bhadra was summoned in the case after another accused, Tapas Mondal, mentioned his name earlier. Bhadra has denied any involvement in the alleged teachers’ recruitment scam.
