U.S. Digital Lending Platform Roostify Appoints Bill Elderton As New Chief Technology Officer
Roostify, a U.S.-based digital lending platform, announced on Monday it has appointed
Bill Elderton as its new
Chief Technology Officer. Roostify reported that Elderton will oversee the design, development, and execution of the company’s innovative technology roadmap.
According to Roostify, Elderton previously was Senior Vice President of Development and Engineering at Q2, a digital solutions provider for financial services. He notably brings “deep fintech experience “ and joins the company as it continues to scale its digital infrastructure.

Mangaluru, Apr 1: A gang of miscreants owing allegiance to saffron outfits brutally assaulted two Muslim men last night at Melanthabettu in Belthangady taluk of Dakshina Kannada district after falsely accusing them of indulging in cattle trafficking.
The victims, identified as Abdul Rahim and Musthafa, residents of Kupetti in Belthangady sustained grievous injuries and are undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Mangaluru.
Police arrested five people in connection with the incident. They are Rajesh Bhat, Rakesh Bhat, Guruprasad, Lokesh and Chidanand. Few others are yet to be arrested.
The gang accused two persons of transporting cattle illegally while they were heading to repair their vehicle.

MANGALURU: A gang of 10 men, allegedly members of a pro-Hindutva outfit, attacked two men accusing them of smuggling cows in their vehicle in Belthangady taluk of Dakshina Kannada district on Wednesday.
The gang accused two persons of transporting cattle illegally while they were heading to repair their vehicle.
According to the police, the incident occurred on Wednesday evening when the complainants Abdul Raheem from Kuppettu in Belthangady and Mohammed Mustafa were going to repair their vehicle. Later, they went to a relative s house at Savanalu and after having dinner there they returned home.
