Directors Think Tank wins gold at Spikes Asia for Petronas Land of Light Bulbs – Campaign Brief Asia

March 2 2021, 8:57 am | BY Kim Shaw | No Comments Following on from recent wins at AdFest, leading SE Asian production company and Campaign Brief’s ‘The Work’ production company of the year, Directors Think Tank, have just picked up a Gold Spike in the Entertainment category at Spikes Asia for Petronas ‘Land of the Light Bulb’.   The three-part web film was a collaboration with Ensemble Worldwide Malaysia and production partners Fingerprint Films. The project was an opportunity to create a branded content campaign to strengthen PETRONAS‘ presence in India. The films highlight the energy that drives India. The production was supported in India by Fingerprint Films and Executive Producer Madhukar Kotian. By: Editorial Head, TRP Let’s preface this with an undeniable fact: I’m not Chinese. I did, however, marry into a Chinese family about a year and 8 months ago and I’m slowly learning a little bit about Chinese culture. This would have been my second time celebrating Chinese New Year with my in-laws except this year’s celebrations aren’t the same as last year’s. Not by a long shot. This year is lacking in many things, but one thing that stings the most for me is probably the absence of Lion Dancers. My wife and I have a 6 month old son and I was excited to see his reaction to watching them jump and dance, with their loud drums and bright costumes.
