Anticyclone over Rajasthan will make way for Monsoon withdrawal

These are the indicators for withdrawal of monsoon. We can say that further withdrawal of monsoon may commence around September 27 28 from the western parts of Rajasthan. By first week of October, Monsoon will withdraw from Delhi as well.

Rajasthan to witness dry and sunny weather during the week

Contrasting rain activities has been witnessed over the state. Northwestern districts such as Sri Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Churu, Bikaner, Jhunjhunu, Sikar, Alwar and Bharatpur witnessed below normal rain. Whereas Jaisalmer, Barmer, Jodhpur, Phalodi, Jhalawar, Kota, Bundi, Baran and Chittorgarh recorded flooding rain.

After flooding rains, weather to go dry over Rajasthan

The well-marked low-pressure area over Rajasthan will move in North West direction and will get weaken into a low pressure area by today evening. There may be scattered rainfall over southwest Rajasthan until August 17. Expect the weather to go dry over most parts of the state between August 18 and 20.

Monsoon rains in store for Rajasthan

However, between August 7 to 9, East Rajasthan including Jaipur, Dholpur, Bharatpur, Alwar, Ajmer, Sikar, Boondi, Kota and adjoining areas will see some good rainfall activities. West and North Rajasthan may see some good spells of rains after a while, which is around August 10 onward.

Weak monsoon conditions over Gujarat and Rajasthan

Rajasthan and Gujarat may continue with good rain thereafter for at least next 3-4 days. We can say that first half of August will also remain good in terms of rainfall for both the states.
