On April 29 and 30 also, we can expect some light showers. May 1 and 2 may see some moderate rainfall activity. Between May 2 and 5, southwest and western parts may see some hailstorm activity as well. The spell will end with some strong winds, hailstorm as well as some intense spells.
Another weather system is heading for the state around the weekend. That system will last longer between 15th and 20th April. Mostly, the northern and western parts will have the weather activity in terms of rain and thundershowers during that period.
Therefore, chances of dust storm and thunderstorm will increase in the latter part of April over Rajasthan but we do not expect any significant weather activity for Gujarat now.
Gusty winds, hailstorm, thunderstorm along with rains are expected to be seen during this period over Rajasthan. Farmers need to beware as both standing and unsecured harvested crops will be affected.
