A low pressure area has formed over Coastal Odisha and Gangetic West Bengal. Also, there is a cyclonic circulation over North Arabian Sea. Axis of trough joining these two systems has an embedded circulation over South Rajasthan and adjoining Gujarat. This convergence zone will remain active during the week over southern half of Rajasthan.
Rain will cover parts of Southeast Rajasthan by June 28 and places like Kota, Bundi, Baran, Bhilwara and Jhalawar as well as Sawai Madhopur may also get light rain. Intense rainfall is expected to occur over many parts of East and South Rajasthan as well as most parts of Gujarat, between June 29 and July 2nd.
Decent moderate showers, possibly heavy at isolated places are expected today and the remnant ones, tomorrow also. The 2nd circulation will have showers confined to north and west Rajasthan tomorrow.
Pre Monsoon weather activity has been lashing North India for the last 3 days. More such showers are expected over the next 3 more days. Continuing with the wet spell, most parts of Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and Delhi will witness moderate rain and thundershowers on 19th, 20th and 21st June.
