Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani has said that he would write to over 56,000 parliamentarians across the world to seek their attention for ending rising human rights violations in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
The Senate chairman said this on Sunday during a meeting with Tehreek-e-Kashmir (TeK) United Kingdom (UK) President Raja Fahim Kayani who called him. Sanjrani said that Pakistan would raise the IIOJK dispute at every international platform, and that the movement of the people of the besieged valley was as per the spirit of United Nations – that has passed the resolutions for the Kashmiris right to self-determination. “It is time to give the right of vote to the people of IIOJK so they can decide about their future,” Sanjrani said.

ISLAMABAD: Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani has said he will write letters to parliamentarians across the world to seek their attention to end the rising human rights violations in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
He said this while talking to Tehreek-e-Kashmir (TeK) UK President Raja Fahim Kayani, who called on him here, according to a press release issued on Sunday.
The Senate Chairman said Pakistan will raise the IIOJK dispute at every international platform, adding Kashmiris’ movement was as per the spirit of the United Nations that had passed several resolutions for the Kashmiris’ right to self-determination.

ISLAMABAD: President Dr Arif Alvi has said Pakistan will continue supporting politically, diplomatically and morally the people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) for their right to self-determination.
According to a statement issued on Wednesday, Dr Alvi said this during a meeting with President Tehreek-e-Kashmir (TeK), UK, Raja Fahim Kayani, who called on him at the Presidency here.
“We appreciate the role of overseas Pakistanis and Kashmiris who come to support the Kashmiris’ struggle following the events happening after August 5, 2019, in IIOJK,” Dr Alvi said, adding: “Besides supporting Kashmir cause, the expatriates are playing pivotal role in the economy of Pakistan while sending remittances.”
