From August 7, rain activities will increase in many districts of Madhya Pradesh including Chhattisgarh and heavy rain is possible at some places. On 9th and 10th, both the states are likely to witness heavy rain at many places. From August 11, the rain will start decreasing.
Under its influence, there is a possibility of moderate to heavy rains in many districts of Madhya Pradesh during the next 4 or 5 days. Many districts of Chhattisgarh may also receive heavy rains during the next few days.
A fresh low pressure area has formed off Odisha coast which will move in the northwest direction and will give widespread rain to many parts of Odisha and Chhattisgarh during next 2 or 3 days. These rain activities will continue till July 21, although there may be some decrease in between.
State of Odisha will be the main beneficiary of the cyclonic circulation with scattered rainfall between 23rd and 25thJune. Rainfall belt will extend to cover Chhattisgarh on 26th and 27thJune.
Weather activity in terms of rain and thundershowers, with possible hailstorm at isolated places is expected to commence on 24thFeb touching parts of East Madhya Pradesh, North Chhattisgarh and western half of Jharkhand. On 25thFeb,this will expand further, both in terms of space and intensity, to cover Bihar and West Bengal.
