The city says its curren supply is unsustainable. Because waukesha sits outside the great lakes basin. It needed and won approval from great lakes states and provinces. The two sides hoped to reach a deal on on the price by the end of this month. But because final approval of waukeshas plan from the great lakes states and provinces didnt come until this summer. The negotiations will likely be extended six more months. Were hopeful well have those contract negotiations complete Water Utility says. Once an agreement is in place.
