Mumbai: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested another person in connection with actor Sushant Singh Rajput s death case and drug case, said NCB sources.
The arrested man, Jagtap Singh Anand is the elder brother of Karamjeet alias KJ, who was earlier arrested in this case. Several transactions were found between Jagtap, KJ and others.
Jagtap was also involved in the drug trade, according to NCB sources.
In another development, NCB has brought Karan Sajnani and Rahila Furniturewala to the NCB office. They are in judicial custody in connection with the drugs case. NCB had confirmed earlier that these two men might have an alleged involvement in Rajput s death case.

The investigation is still going on in the death case of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput who was found dead at his Mumbai apartment on June 14 last year. The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has made another arrest on Thursday. The NCB official revealed that they have arrested a person named Jagtap Singh Anand who is connected to Karamjeet Singh. Singh was arrested earlier in connection to peddling drugs. Maharashtra cabinet minister and NCP leader Nawab Malikâs son-in-law Sameer Khan has been sent on a two-week long judicial custody on Monday,
India Today reports.
This followed the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) telling the Esplanade Magistrate Court that they do not need to interrogate Khan anymore. His lawyers have revealed that they will file for a bail application in a few days, though the NCB had arrested him on 13 January.
Sameer Khan is apparently involved in a major drug nexus pertaining to British citizen Karan Sajnani. The latter had imported marijuana via US through courier and the NCB officials raided his residence after getting to know of the same.

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), which is probing into drug rackets involving several high-profile personalities, carried out raids at two places in Mumbai on Friday.
This comes after Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik s son-in-law Sameer Khan was arrested and sent to NCB custody. He is currently being probed in connection with the case.
Recently, Mumbai s renowned Muchhad Paanwala was arrested in the drug case.

Mumbai: After the arrest of Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik s son-in-law Sameer Khan yesterday, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has intensified its investigation in the drugs case.
Multiple teams of the NCB are conducting raids in Mumbai since last night.
In a tweet on Thursday, Malik said, Nobody is above the law and it should be applied without any discrimination. Law will take its due course and justice will prevail. I respect and have immense faith in our judiciary.
