‘Major tragedy averted in Jammu today after recovery of 6.5 KG IED’
JAMMU: The Jammu and Kashmir police on Sunday claimed to have arrested two chief commanders of two separate militant outfits including The Resistance Front (TRF) and Lashkar-e-Mustafa in the past few days across the UT.
Addressing a press conference in Jammu, the director general of police, Jammu and Kashmir, Dilbag Singh said that police carried out two major successful operations and arrested two chief commanders of TRF and Lashkar-e Mustafa.
He said that to give a local name to a militant outfit, Lashkar-e-Toiba created an outfit by the The Resistance Front while Jaish-e-Mohammad created Lashkar-e-Mustafa to carry out militant activities in Jammu and Kashmir.

Jammu, Feb 14 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir police on Sunday claimed to have arrested two chief commanders of two separate militant outfits including The Resistance Front (TRF) and Lashkar-e-Mustafa in the past few days across the UT and also averted major tragedy by recovering an Improvised Explosive Device weighing 6.5-kg from near General Bus Stand here.
