April 18, 2021 No. 4 Beach Caps off Regular Season with a Perfect Weekend GULF SHORES, Ala. – The fourth-ranked Florida State beach volleyball team (28-4) finished off the regular season, going 3-0 on Sunday with a pair of wins over No. 7 TCU and a 5-0 win over Tulane. The Seminoles started the day with a 3-2 win over No. 7 TCU, FSU’s first of two wins on the day over the Horned Frogs. Florida State got on the board first with a point from court five. Jenna Johnson and Kate Privett were tied at 14 in the first set when one of TCU’s players got hurt and could not continue the match, resulting in an FSU win.

April 17, 2021 - by Bret Clein Beach Sweeps Southern Miss, Schedule Change for Sunday GULF SHORES, Ala. – The fourth-ranked Florida State beach volleyball team (25-4) earned a 5-0 sweep of Southern Miss (9-21) on Saturday before the rest of the day was postponed due to bad weather in the area. Tomorrow’s schedule has changed due to inclement weather on Saturday. Florida State will now play No. 7 TCU at 9:30 am EST and Tulane at 11:45 am EST on Sunday. The Seminoles will play one of their opponents again for a third and final match on Sunday at 2 pm EST. The Seminoles swept the Golden Eagles for the second time this season to complete their 15

April 10, 2021 - by Bret Clein No. 3 Beach Volleyball Earns Two Wins on Senior Day TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The third-ranked Florida State beach volleyball team (24-4) had reasons to celebrate on Saturday as they earned their 13 th and 14 th sweeps of the season with 5-0 wins over No. 17 Stetson and UNF and celebrated their 11 seniors during Senior Day. No. 3 FLORIDA STATE 5, NO. 17 STETSON 0 The Seminoles and the Hatters got an early start to the morning with an 8 am match. This did not slow Florida State down as they defeated Stetson 5-0 with four straight-set wins. Jenna Johnson and Kate Privett got things started for the Garnet and Gold earning a 21-17, 21-11 win on court five. Keara Rutz and Torrey Van Winden expanded the lead to two with a 21-13, 21-14 win on court two. That win improved Rutz and Van Winden to 24-2 together on the season with all of their matches on court two.
